Q:I have used head and shoulders, tar based shampoos, been to the doctor loads and nothing will get rid of my dry scalp. does anyone know of anything i can do to make it less dry?? HELPP!!!
A:Try to avoid using cosmetic shampoo.
always use herbal shampoo (i.e. sant kripa shampoo made by sant sri asaram ji asharam).
A:For the dandruff u could try” Dr. Miracles 2 in 1 Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner”. Its safe for relaxed hair or natural. While u are growing your hair out u definately want to keep it conditoned. Another good product for relaxed or natural hair is “Motions Marula Natural Therapy collection”. It doesn’t weigh your hair down and it’s very good for dry scalp or if the hair is dry and brittle.You can u the moisturizer daily. Both products are sold at Sally’s beauty store and its probably sold at Walmart too. The deep conditioning u are currently doing is very helpful to your hair’s health as well.
A:Soak your hair in head and shoulders anti dandruff shampoo for as long as needs be. Perhaps use a few drops of lemon juice too, premember to condition hair afterwards.
A:Perhaps giving her a good brushing both before & after bath time will help and yes, as mentioned previously, make sure you rinse a lot!
A:I’ve never heard of sodium free shampoo. I do agree you want to use a sulfate free shampoo due to your keratin treatment. I work in a salon and we do not have any that help control dry scalp. And I’ve never seen any in the catalogs I get from beauty supply stores. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t any. I just haven’t seen any. I guess all you can really do is look at the shampoos for dry scalp and read the ingredients.
A:Head and Shoulders-over the years their shampoo has become better smelling and now they make different types of shampoos and conditioners for different types of hair (smoothing, moisturizing, etc.) I hope this helps though and good luck!
