Q:I wash my hair two times a day. I’ve tried a lot of the dandruff shampoo there is. I’ve even order one shampoo. But they keep coming back. I get them year round, so I know that it’s not just a seasonal thing. And I take the longest time to rinse my hair and try to take very good care of it. I don’t use gel, muse, or hair spray. Neither do I straighten or curl it. I usually just wake up, rinse my hair and brush it. And I only usually have it down, or in a ponytail. Can I get any suggestions of some products (names, etc.), or advise. It is driving me to insanity. Thanks….

A:lmaooo. just switch out his shampoo. like refill it with dandruff stuff. Or just tell him his dandruff is getting bad. Im sure he wont take it THAT personal.

A:Dandruff is dry flaking skin. The best way is too moisturize it. Try not to blow dry too much. When washing your hair try to get shampoos with aloe, vita-e, or other skin moisturizing products. Maybe you could even try adding a couple drops of baby oil to your hair while shampooing.

A:Neutrogena T-gel is good and good for your hair. Other shampoos can be drying. Also get some tea tree oil (found at Sally’s Beauty Supplie, Walmart or Walgreens)

A:I think it is time to read more about dermatitis and psoriases (link below) and then make an appointment with a dermatologist

A:It sounds like your cat may have a skin condition and you should definitely take him to the vet for a checkup. Moisturizing shampoo is made for all cats and isn’t going to do much to help your cat, as it’s a moisturizer for the fur rather than the skin.
